It's a BOY!

So last Friday we got the exciting and wonderful news that we are having a healthy baby boy!  I kind of had a feeling it was a boy, but the news still brought me to tears in excitement and shock!  A little boy....

It's just a strange feeling to be carrying a boy since I am so used to girl this and girl that and how to handle a girl being that I have Emily.  A boy is a whole new ball game here!  Rough and tumble, dirt and worms, and all that stuff.  No more bows and tutus, rainbows and ribbons!

I went through the massive tons of clothes we had from Emily (about 4 bins worth) and sorted about a bin of blankets, towels and onesies and will be suitable for a little boy. The rest is going into our garage sale planned for May.  It will be sad to part from the little frilly outfits, but it will be exciting to replace them with the blues and browns for my son!

I am so looking forward to the future with my husband and children.  I couldn't feel more blessed right now!
