Month 5: September - October

Stats: 16 lbs 10 oz (home scale estimate), 26.5 inches
Milestones: Started solids

Almost up to date!

As each moth passes, things just get more manageable.  We are more on a routine and she is just in general a more pleasant baby to be around!  We had a few fun outings including the Michigan Renaissance Festival and my good friend Kelly's wedding!!  That was a little rough on Emily, but she did good and Jim took great care of her while I participated in the wedding.

As mentioned previously, Emily was getting a bit of a flat spot on her head.  We took her the pedi for a checkup for her 4 month (Sept 7th) and they recommended we take her for therapy.  We have been doing therapy since the end of September.  I would say it is going well.  Emily hates it of course since she isn't one that likes to be messed with!

We will be getting a re-evaluation after about a month of treatment, so at the end of October.
